Eisai Selected as Supplier Engagement Leader,
CDP's Highest Rating in the Supplier Engagement Assessment

  Eisai has been selected for the highest rating of “Supplier Engagement Leader” in the Supplier Engagement Rating by CDP,¹ an international environmental non-profit organization. This is the second time Eisai has been selected, following last year. Eisai was also selected for A List, the highest-rating, in the fields of “Climate Change” and “Water Security” in 2025.²

  CDP’s “Supplier Engagement Rating” evaluates corporate initiatives to address climate change issues across the supply chain, based on responses to the CDP Climate Change Questionnaire.The assessement is conducted from five perspectives; “Governance and Business Strategy”, “Targets”, “Scope 3 Emissions”³, “Risk Management Processes”, and “Supplier Engagement.”
  
  To conduct environmentally conscious business activities throughout our entire supply chain, Eisai asks business partners to comply with its “Eisai Global Code of Conduct for Business Partners”⁴ which clearly states the requirement for environmental conservation. The company is also strengthening collaborative ties with partners by conducting sustainability assessments and providing feedback on the results. Eisai believes this selection reflects the recognition of its continuous initiatives to address climate change, including efforts across the supply chain.
   
  Based on Eisai’s Future Creation Strategy⁵ (Sustainability Strategy), the company is committed to addressing material issues and social challenges over the mid- to long- term, with the aim of contributing to sustainable corporate growth and the sustainable development of society. In the field of environmental conservation, Eisai has identified “Business activities with consideration for the global environment” as one of its material issues. Based on the Eisai Network Companies Environmental Policy, Eisai is promoting responses to climate change as environmental activities across the group.
