We extend our deepest sympathies to those affected by the earthquake occurred off the east coast of Taiwan.
Eisai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, CEO: Haruo Naito, “Eisai”) announced today that its Taiwanese subsidiary Eisai Taiwan Inc. (Location: Taipei) has decided to offer a donation of 1 million Taiwan dollars (around 4.7 million yen) via the Hualien social welfare account to aid relief efforts in the disaster-stricken area. In addition, Eisai will provide vitamin drinks as aid supplies to evacuation shelters and other appropriate destinations in the affected regions.
Eisai sincerely prays for the rapid recovery of the afflicted regions.
