Eisai Launches Sea-Bond A Sheet-Type Denture Adhesive

Tokyo (May 17, 1999) - Eisai Co., Ltd. of Tokyo (President and CEO:Haruo Naito) today announced the launch on May 17 of a sea kelp derived natural sheet-type denture adhesive, SEA-BOND


Because SEA-BOND is a sheet-type denture adhesive, it provides a uniform adhesive distribution. The adhesive, derived from sea kelp,is tasteless, odorless, and provides a safe comfortable, all-day hold. As a sheet-type denture adhesive, SEA-BOND cannot ooze from the dentures. Moreover, the sheet also serves as a cushion that is evenly distributed on the dentures.


SEA-BOND is a convenient to use sheet that is applied to the dentures after being moistened by water. And SEA-BOND peels off easily after usage. SEA-BOND eliminates inconvenience and discomfort and restores confidence and security.


SEA-BOND is manufactured in the U.S. by COMBE Inc. and Tanpei Pharmaceutical has sold SEA-BOND in Japan since 1993. From now Eisai will begin sales of SEA-BOND. In the U.S., SEA-BOND is highly recognized sheet-type denture adhesive.
