 Royalty
 Accounting 
A fee paid to an individual or company that holds rights primarily to intellectual property by a party utilizing those rights. For example, when subsidiaries use intellectual property owned by the parent company and market the resulting pharmaceutical products, these subsidiaries pay royalties to the parent company royalties based on their sales.
