Eisai Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Tokyo, CEO: Haruo Naito, “Eisai”) expresses its deepest sorrow for those who have lost their lives, and offers heartfelt sympathy to the victims of the earthquakes that recently struck Kumamoto prefecture.
In response to this disaster, Eisai will try to support the improvement of hygienic conditions for victims of the earthquakes by visiting medical, nursing care and other facilities as well as delivering goods such as sterilized wipes. In addition, Eisai has decided to offer a donation of 30 million Japanese yen to aid relief efforts for the victims in the disaster-stricken area.
Eisai sincerely hopes that its activities will help the people affected by the earthquake and prays for the rapid recovery of the afflicted region.
