Sr. Manager, Market Research - Fragmin Brand | Sales & Marketing Eisai Inc. -- Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey | | | Job Description- Responsible for identifying market research needs and devising solid research objectives for the Fragmin brand
- Translating those objectives into viable market research studies with key deliverables which will be interpreted to include but not limited to the following: competitive product data by specialty and market segment, to include new and current product indications, product positioning, promotional and sales materials or information, future market opportunities and market and sales data by specialty
- Responsible for identifying issues which confront the Fragmin brand and for managing all market research projects in support of the brand
- Identify current and future product, market and customer information needs through primary and/or secondary market research
- Select and manage outside vendors to execute and analyze research results and provide data presentations with legitimate research conclusions and actionable recommendations
- Examine the results provided by consultants and vendors and provide a thorough but concise summary of the findings and communicate that to the Fragmin Brand Team
- Provide periodic situational market analyses or assessments to be integrated into the Fragmin Business Plan
| Qualifications- MBA or Graduate degree required
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A minimum of 10 years experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, Medical/Laboratory Industry
- A minimum of 7 years in Healthcare market research with specific experience in survey design, data analysis, managing vendors and presenting results
- Ability to demonstrate analytical skills
- Approximately 15% travel
- Experience in specialty markets, global, competitive intelligence and knowledge of pharmaceutical data sources
- Computer proficiency including Internet searches and software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Lotus Notes
- Ability to present complex data sets in clear and concise formats
- Positive attitude and ability and dedication to uphold the Eisai values in a professional manner
- Ability to identify strategic opportunities
- Comfort with SPSS, SAS or similar statistical software tools
- Experience in Marketing, Sales or other healthcare disciplines
