Associate Director/Director, Corporate Communications (EGC)

Job Description

  • Leading all aspects of internal strategic communications for EGC to support the implementation of key business objectives and initiatives
  • Collaborating with company leadership to manage the company's strategic communication efforts
  • Translating business change agendas into clear messaging that meets business needs
  • Working with leadership and management to develop and support communication's roll out and strategic organizational change initiatives
  • Advising senior management on communications
  • Leading the development and implementation of the communications plan, policies and programs to promote the change agenda and drive behaviors to support the business agenda and internal constituencies
  • Planning and directing the execution of EGC's engagement communication activities, including internal communication vehicles (EGC Connections), leadership meetings and communication meetings (All Employee Meetings)
  • Functioning as the hhc Leader for EGC
  • Developing and changing communication capabilities among members of the "Management Communication Network" and senior leadership
  • Identifying opportunities to build links and consultative relationships in the company and help company leaders leverage communications opportunities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with relevant major; advanced degrees preferred
  • 10+ years of industry experience in business/corporate communications and change management
  • Demonstrated success in writing speeches, memos, and presentations for senior management
  • Demonstrated excellence in change management and acting as an internal communications coach to senior management
  • Significant experience in developing and implementing communications strategy, process, and key messages that drive change; strong understanding of change management concepts
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in designing/facilitating senior level communication events/opportunities
  • Serve as an internal communications consultant with senior organizational leaders and demonstrate proactive experience with senior leadership in "rallying support" for the communications effort
